Hallo,
I'm currently building a Linux From Scratch system
(www.linuxfromscratch.org) and have just tried to compile M4 (version
1.4).
The "make check" failed but according to the LFS book that's to be
expected when using a 2.0.x kernel in combination with glibc 2.1. So the
failure itself is not the problem. However, despite the checks failing,
the exit status returned by "make check" is 0, meaning that
make check && make install
will execute "make install" even though it shouldn't.
