[Bug-gnubg] GTK+ 2.2 Win32 build: display much too slow

With GTK+2.2, GNUBg takes 1 min 30 secs (even more) to build up the match
equity table and then displays it.
Same time when other MET is loaded (logical, yes)

Settings / Appearance : 5 seconds to display.

Hint Window: 15 seconds to build it up.

Selecting couple of rolls and doing a roll out:
each line refreshes 7 times (two lines = 14 times),
4 seconds something per rollout, just for displaying
So: 1296 rollouts....

I noticed the same thing with GTK+2.0.

Unless someone can tell me what to do about this,
I really don't think GTK+2 is a solution for Win32.

Pentium III 500 with SSE, 256 MB RAM
NVidia Riva TNT2/M64 pro 64 MB
WinME
