This part is definitely correct. By default GnuBG computes luck at 0 ply. It
can be overridden by using the commands below. if you turn on the command
window with "View" Menu/"Panels>" and make sure "Command" is selected, a
"Command" prompt should appear in the lower right of the GnuBG window. From
there you can change the plies with:
set analysis luckanalysis plies <plies>
So
set analysis luckanalysis plies 2
Would set ply level to 2 for luck analysis. Other analysis options can be
changed. If you issue this command:
help set analysis luckanalysis
You will see you can set these other options:
Cubeful
Deterministic
Noise
Plies
Prune
GnuBG computes luck at 0 ply be default because of the significant time
higher plies (for luck) can add to an analysis.
