On Linux builds if you want SSE2, then USE_VECTORIZE and USE_SSE2 are
defined.
If you want SSE only then USE_SSE2 is disabled and USE_VECTORIZE is enabled
I confirmed it by running ./configure and requesting an --enable-sse=sse2
build and then did an --enable-sse=sse build.
