Interesting... I've gone through MANY Princo "DVD Pro" discs, and not had a
problem: they read on my 2 year old DVD-ROM reader, my Samsung DVD-Video (621)
player, and my DVD burner.
I *have* had total read failures with Princo discs on my two-year+ old Philips
DVD-Video (825) Player. This is to be expected.. the video player is ancient
now. I've noticed that OptoDisc and Meritline Silver (usually) work just fine
on this old model however.
I am surprised a DVD-reader would have the same issue, since I assumed they
have better tolerances than video players.
FYI -- Meritline sell a "mixed pack" of DVD-R brands at one discounted price.
You get two of each on four/five brands. This allows you to try several brands,
without a price penalty of buying individual discs or buying spindles.
