Hello All,
It tends to be useful to access archives through cache (when I don't
want to make local mirror). However, there is one problem. The cache has
to be told not to cache the .listing files. Otherwise tla might not
notice changes to archive.
I fortunately run the only cache myself, so I could add .listing to list
of files that must not be cached. However, think of people stuck with
"transparent" proxy on their gateway.
For these people, it would be really good, if tla could make requests
for .listing files, and only these files, with the
Cache-Control: max-age=0
header. All the other files in archive are never modified, so it safe
(and good) to cache them.
