It would be interesting to see what a court says about having your
license revoked for reporting bugs. Ben C's case is hardly relevant.
IIRC, Ben C is a very active developer of svn.
I do not think that use and discussion of the UI of alternative
systems would be considered "working on", and a license which
prohibited use of alternatives probably violates the anti-tying
provisions of U.S. anti-trust law. Since you are required to
compensate Bitmover (they get access to logs of your data stream), I
think it probably would fall under the law; this is not a gift.
