Paul Pogonyshev suggested several things concerning tsuke nobi.
i put some nonsense into the hoshi data base a long time ago and
i remember that for a while gnugo played only tsuke nobi and nothing else,
then we got that down somewhat. it should play it fairly often,
if there is a handicap stone at the side hoshi,
in an even game it should play it rather rarely,
maybe one can adjust that.
i was trying to put in something against the various well known hamete moves,
although i am aware of the fact that there are still quite a few possibilities 
left.
the move Paul suggests, i didnt look at at all, one would have to study that.
i admit, i am too stupid to do anything which is not in the books,
well one should have a look
