[gnugo-devel] 5% increase in owl nodes

Subject: [gnugo-devel] 5% increase in owl nodes

Between 3.5.5 and 3.5.6, a 5% increase in owl nodes happened. Tracking
this down a little further, it has occurred between 3.5.6 and the cvs
version as of 2004-04-23 2:00h. This is just before large_scale_5_5.1e
went in.

(Note that if you do cvs update -D ... you first have to convert
2004-04-23 2:00h into your local time zone. Whatever you do, afterwards
CVS/Tag carries the CVS time stamp in UTC, so it must show above date
and hour to obtain this version. (Yes, CVS sucks.))

I may have time to track this down further later today. Whatever the
reason is, it shows that it would be a good idea to always have current
node counts in BREAKAGE, and to watch for regressions in that account.
