One the cvs website, at the page
http://www.cvshome.org/docs/cvsmanaging.html there is a section on releasing
files:
"The command to release a file or directory is:
cvs rel filename (or /directory_name)"
However, on our system, trying to release a file instead of a directory
produces this error:
"cvs release msoft
cvs release: no such directory: msoft"
Releasing directories works fine, as does comitting/updating individual
files and directories.
Anyone know if this is a bug in the software, an incorrect webpage, or just
me doing something wrong?
We're using cvs v1.11.1p.
Thanks in advance,
Ewan Leith
