Problem compiling a2ps-4.13 on SCO - UW7.1.1 UDK 711b

hi,

it's impossible to compile a2ps-4.13 on  UW7.1.1 / udk 711b  - problem
on:

-  UX:acomp: ERROR: "encoding.c", line 349: "inline" functions cannot
use "static" identifier: font_entry_new

declarative static function, are  not conform  with  new ansi standard
compiler definitions !

to solve, perharps to modify  all the inline declarative  static
function  in all modules  ?

Any one has  some idea  ( no use ogf gcc  thanks ... ?)
