Hi every one,
We have just imported the AASM project into the CVS. It's still under
development, but it has a lot of working features and it could be used for
your assembly projects. The current available modules are :
- aasm (the core of the project)
- devel (needed for builduing any module)
- in-parser (the default parser)
- asm-x86 (the x86 assembler)
- out-intelhex (an intelhex output module)
- out-binary (raw binary output module)
- out-elf (elf 32 and 64 bits output module)
- out-src (source code output with same syntax as in-parser)
AASM code samples can be found in asm-x86/sample directory. A manpage
which
describe aasm basics is available. Developer ressources are available in the
devel module.
First release goals are :
- Removing as much bug as possible
- Writing as much test as possible (need to check every
features and
modules)
- Add support for more target CPUs (SPARC and F-CPU modules
will be imported
into cvs soon)
- Add support for other object file formats (COFF, OMF, ...)
No new feature are planned for this release. But it could be a good
idea to
define a way to write a test policy and a validation process to accept
modules for the first release.
