I sent some test builds to debian with that commit and they all
succeeded so far:
arm:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=attr&arch=armhf&ver=1%3A2.4.46-8.1&stamp=1363937934
ia64:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=attr&arch=ia64&ver=1%3A2.4.46-8.1&stamp=1363939208
powerpc:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=attr&arch=powerpc&ver=1%3A2.4.46-8.1&stamp=1363938233
s390x:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=attr&arch=s390x&ver=1%3A2.4.46-8.1&stamp=1363938229
More logs for more archs will be here:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=attr&suite=experimental
I also tested binaries locally on x86_64, and setting a reading
extended attributes work fine.
