Greetings,

I have been studying distributed version control systems for almost a year, but am just now experimenting with ArX. The improvements described in the 2.0 version looked good enough to pull me in.

I'm using gentoo x86. I downloaded ArX 1.0.20, and built it. My goal is really to bypass 1.0.20 and start learning 2.0, so I immediately tried to grab the 2.0 sources. I successfully registered what I think is the correct archive:

$ arx archives
address@hidden
        http://superbeast.ucsd.edu/~landry/ArX/{archive}

But when I give the "get" command, I get oodles of errors. It does create some patch directories in the current directory where I gave the command:

$ arx get address@hidden/dists--arx--1.0 arx
...
(missed much output similar to below)
...
PROPFIND:1965: parser warning : xmlns:i0: 'DAV:' is not a valid URI
sponse xmlns:lp0="DAV:" xmlns:lp1="http://apache.org/dav/props/"; xmlns:i0="DAV:" ^PROPFIND:1983: parser warning : xmlns:lp0: 'DAV:' is not a valid URI <D:response xmlns:lp0="DAV:" xmlns:lp1="http://apache.org/dav/props/"; xmlns:i0="

(Ctrl-C after waiting several minutes, with periodic output as above)

$ dir
,,get.dists--arx--1.0--patch-186.20041001T034847  output
$ less output
$ dir ,,get.dists--arx--1.0--patch-186.20041001T034847/
$

Any suggestions, thoughts, or hints?

Thanks,

Kevin
