In portuguese language we have composed words which are separated by hifen (ex. guarda-roupa). When i try to create a master dictionary using a word list aspell says that hifen "-" is an invalid caracter. Using the option --dont-validate-words, i got no erros but the .rws file was empty. Does anyone knows if there is someway to create a dictionary with composed words
If you really want then you can use "special" option in the language data file. See http://aspell.net/man-html/The-Language-Data-File.html.
However, please use this option with extreme care. Adding the hyphen will now cause Aspell to treat _every_ string with a hyphen in it as one word. If that exact string is not in the dictionary than it will be flagged as a misspelled word. For example if you type "foo-bar" and the "foo-bar" is is not in the dictionary than it will be flagged as misspelled even if "foo" and "bar" are in the dictionary. See:
