Ok, I've done that. Additionally, I've added a file to the old CVS
repo:
,----[ cat THIS_REPOSITORY_IS_OBSOLETE.txt ]
| This is the old CVS repository of GNU AUCTeX. It is *obsolete*! Don't commit
| here anymore! (Hopefully, it's configured so that it doesn't accept commits
| anymore.)
|
| GNU AUCTeX now uses Git for version control. The git repository is linked
from
| the savannah AUCTeX project page:
|
| https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/auctex
|
| Everyone who had commit access for this old CVS repository now has push access
| for the Git repository.
`----
And I've asked the savannah admins to make the CVS repository read-only.
https://savannah.gnu.org/support/index.php?108409
So hopefull, even if the mail to his company's address won't make it to
him, eventually he'll notice that he's doing something wrong.
Bye,
Tassilo
