Correct, no command prompt opened.

Although I feel inclined to answer "no". It could not be be a valid abbreviation of my debian-wsl home directory which is installed in and can be accessed from the windows side via?:

 

C:\Users\[...]\AppData\Local\Packages\TheDebianProject.DebianGNULinux_[....]\LocalState\rootfs\home\citizen13

"\\wsl$\Debian\home\citizen13"
CMD.EXE wurde mit dem oben angegebenen Pfad als aktuellem Verzeichnis gestartet.
UNC-Pfade werden nicht unterstützt.
Stattdessen wird das Windows-Verzeichnis als aktuelles Verzeichnis gesetzt.
C:\Windows

 

 

And no command prompt opens.
