One more place that needs to be fixed is autoconf/status.m4.

    -recheck | --recheck | --rechec | --reche | --rech | --rec | --re | --r)
      echo "running $SHELL $[0] " $ac_configure_args " --no-create 
      exec $SHELL $[0] $ac_configure_args --no-create --no-recursion ;;

We'll need to use $AS_ORIGINAL_INVOCATION_NAME, or $as_mydir/$as_me
instead of $0.
