I don't understand - do you want to develop autoconf or what?
My word as an author is not enough?

I'm disappointed. Lawyers will eat you from the head and it seems
they've already started. =) I have no desire to participate in your
games, waste my time and finally get a knife in the back from those
who write these rules. Sorry. Patch is in public domain or GPL if you
like, because it is for GPL package. Take it or admit that FSF stops
innovation.
