You could download a source distribution of the software you need, and
compile and install that below your home directory.  In that case,
please refer to the installation documentation of that software for
further information.  Alternatively, you could ask your system
administrator to install some software for you.  If you are that person,
maybe reading up on some of the extensive Solaris documentation
available will help you; also they have online fora to help.

In any case, this mailing list is the wrong place to ask.  Sorry.
On-topic issues here include changes to a specific software package
called GNU Autoconf.
