I apologize that I was not able to see it in your previous mail.

Oh, so the extra sleep is the result that you are not using
        find configure -newer stamp

> is merely an optimization, is does not harm execution.

I did not understand that the eventual omission of this code is
actually harmless.  Thanks for your explanation.
