It's already applied.  Also, I proposed that "AC_PACKAGE_NAME configure"
is the actual name of the configure script, and AC_PACKAGE_VERSION is
its version for lack of a better alternative.  There was no objections
to this, and I even think Alexandre thought it was a good idea IIRC.
That's why it's like this - at first it seems strange, I'll give you, but
when you get used to the fact that configure has the package name
incorporated in its program name, it doesn't look so strange any more...
Are we going into round two (or is it three?) on this one?
