that I fear proportional fonts for such a use.

Precisely!  Then, what in just a few words, how does it differ?

This, I understand.  For the time being, I still find partially
aligned is more readable, and the worst of all being GNU Make.  But I
think this is an opinion of a user (who turns out to be also a
programmer).  But I understand.

Agreed.  This is really for my information that I'm willing to learn
your feelings about this.

One must really have time to waste and little care for others' people
time to report this as a bug.
