Is there any way to avoid the re-make of any docs included in a GNU app?
For example the m4 archive comes with four INFO files. I would like to
install these rather than recreating them, which in this case produces
error msgs anyway.
I would prefer to install the originals, preserving time stamps in the
process, but don't see any way to do it.
Is there anything which could be done within autoconf or automake to
facilitate this?
If not is there a simple change I can make to the Makefile so that
everything is uptodate?
