cross tool detection

Dear Autoconf team,

Mine is one of a class of apps that regularly use autoconf
in parallel computer codes. These by nature are often cross
tools, and frequently use vendor supplied wrappers like "mpicxx" as "CXX" 
etc to sort out the libraries & compile environment...

I'm getting warnings about deprecation of cross compile in
with such a compile target:

configure: WARNING: In the future, Autoconf willno detect cross-tools
whose name does not start with the host-triplet. If you think this
configuration is useful to you, please write to address@hidden
"

So, I followed the instructions...
