Thanks for the enthusiasm. Unfortunately, you picked the wrong lists.
Automake patches should be sent to address@hidden; likewise,
libtool patches should be sent to (you guessed it)
address@hidden Neither of your patches affect autoconf.
Furthermore, you probably need to assign copyright to the FSF before
your patches can be accepted upstream.
