Howdy,

Sorry, I broke VPATH builds for Fortran, see new diff attached which
supersedes the previous one.

Please keep in mind, that my patches are for discussion only they're by
far not ready to be included into 'official' automake...
If this is the wrong mailinglist for this discussion, just tell me, I'll
stop spamming and move forward to the "right" one.

Do you remember the example project 'nasty_f90' from my previous post,
I've uploaded the 'make dist' tarball to
ftp://ftp.zmaw.de/outgoing/stange/nasty_f90-0.1.tar.gz so you can just
give it a try without further action and see what happens in real life.

I've read (http://sources.redhat.com/automake/contribute.html), that
I'll also have to sign some formal "assignment form". Can you send it to
me, so I can sign it in advance and we can eventually speed up things
later on?
