Changes to automake shouldn't cause any warnings with `make
maintainer-check'. This is a very quick check that can be run even
for trivial and obviously correct changes (it doesn't run the test
suite).

Right now there are problems:

    creche. make maintainer-check
    /usr/bin/perl -c -w automake

Could you fix these?

Tom
