Hi,
here's a problem I just cannot figure out on my own -- distcheck always
fails on data using the following test files:
---<8--- Makefile.am
AUTOMAKE_OPTIONS = foreign subdir-objects
noinst_DATA = foo.txt
--->8---
---<8--- configure.ac
AC_INIT([foo], [0])
AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE([-Wall])
AC_CONFIG_FILES([Makefile])
AC_OUTPUT
--->8---
---<8--- foo.txt
asd
--->8---
Trigger:
autoreconf -fi
./configure
make
make distcheck
Output seen:
[lots of distcheck output]
config.status: creating Makefile
make[1]: Entering directory `/dev/shm/t/obj/foo-0/_build'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `foo.txt', needed by `all-am'.
Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/dev/shm/t/obj/foo-0/_build'
make: *** [distcheck] Error 2
- simple distcheck fails,
