Thanks for the posted diff-Naur patch.

I've applied this patch locally and am testing it.
The regress script should highlight all places where this changes
the behavior of the algebra code. If it is more than the defintrf
file I'll let you know.

Once it passes local testing I'll push it out to git and svn.
