I'll try and give that a spin later...   I'll note that I don't see the
same problem under PPC.  Same setup (just copied my .ayttm dir across).
Well mostly the same setup.  My PPC laptop is running Mandrake Cooker.
So there is newer versions of the compiler, glibc, etc...
