You can have all the fancy certificates in the world but they are just worthless pieces of paper if you cannot apply yourself in the classroom.
In fact I think I am moving to the UK because prices here have gone out of the stratosphere.
Or possibly, can take the Celta course in Turkey and then start looking for a job?
Type in Language schools in Ireland and you will get plenty of info.

Also, our graduate score high on IELTS exams, TESOL tests, Chinese oral tests, and generally they can have long conversations with native speakers of English. If you prefer the coast then the language institute at the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla is always on the look out for EFL teachers. You can get a job here but it may not be consistant or pay very well to match living expenses.
However, I'm Polish and I haven't got enough time to do the Celta course. That is why they don't learn. Any suggestions would be welcome cos I'm at my wit's end here - plugging away on the internet! You can check out housing prices etc online as well.

That should give you some clue.
Or possibly, can take the Celta course in Turkey and then start looking for a job? The only question I have is, "Are the students learning from you?
:: RE: I want to travel and teach english. Also, I am checking into the course you wrote about.

Be prepared to show up for an interview if you are called. Everybody wants a native speaker but you are well qualified with lots of experience and therefore, you should send off your CV to test the market.
This is also true in the Middle East.
The demand for English teachers is high in countries like Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.
Someone needs to be telling the truth. :: RE: I want to travel and teach english.

Cartagena is best avoided. :: RE: I want to travel and teach english.
I've got an MA in English Philology and I've been an ESL teacher for four years.
