[be] Bibledit get's stuck in find/replace actions: Cannot see markers in find

Testing Bibledit version 4.0.
Created a project with the whole Bible of the German Good News.

Then made a find/replace: '\w* ->  nothing'
and BE got stuck in John 6:22. The message says: The window might be 
busy and is not responding. Do you want to terminate the application. 
Choosing yes, BE exits.

Now trying to continue the action: '\w* ->  nothing' beginning from John 
6:22 the following happens

1. choosing the option: 'Current book only'in find/replace
- simple find action opens a reference window showing all the 
(remaining) verses with \w*
- find/replace gets stuck when trying to show the references in the 
reference window.

2. When I do not choose the option: 'Current book only'in find/replace,
- find/replace opens a reference window showing all the  verses with \w* 
beginning in Genesis.

->? Why does find/replace not show references in the middle of a book 
(starting with John 6,22) but shows them in Genesis?
