    Here is my proposal to make Gettext 2.13/2.50 happy.  In two steps.

Cool.  It looks good to me, but what do I know :).  I think I'll wait
until the gettext folks weigh in before spending more Texinfo time on
this...

    Upgrading Gettext to use Libtool 1.4

Is this necessary or only desirable?  Does that have compatibility
issues also?
