 Well, RPM generates shell scripts to execute from its templates, so I
might just send them to you, indeed.  Anyway the said diff fixes the
problem for me indeed.

 Akim, thanks for pointing it out -- I'll include it in the next version
of my autoconf package and trim the ac25 gettext patch to only leave
AC_LIBOBJ bits remaining.
