Do you have a solution? |

Recently I was making an update in my apache,
specifically on the connectors between apache and
tomcat but when I try to compile I get an error on
apxs that is a reconstructor of apache libs in a
shared way and the message was: AXPS unworkable. A
friend of mine said to me to download new versions of
autoconf and automake, but I find more error during
installation in both of them.
For example, when I type 'make check' in autoconf
directory it says:
testing config.status
...
40:torture.at:650 FAILED near 'torture.at:683'
...
and before this I install it...
>make
>make install
so before all tests and makes when I type 'autoconf
--version' its ok and it shows a correct message of
version 2.55, but when typed only 'autoconf' it says:
autom4te:no such file or directory: m4sugar/m4sugar.m4
following the install of automake when I enter the
'./configure' command it says:
configure: error: autoconf 2.54 or better is required
well, how it could be possible if my version is 2.55
and autoconf was prompting me correctly? I dont have
an idea to do about it and to follow the update of my
server. If you have a solution, please reply.
Thanks in advance
