Y'all:

Reporting this as requested by the configure program that came to me 
with ORBit2-2.7.0.  The system on which I'm encountering this has been 
ridden pretty hard, so it would not surprise me to find that I've got 
some config situation going on here that might be beyond autoconf's 
normal operating parameters.  Let me know if you would like me to gather 
any more data from this box; it will probably remain in a similar state 
for a couple weeks, though I can't swear to it.
