I was trying to upgrade to KDE 3.1.2 from 3.1.0 using Konstruct. I am using
Slackware 9.0.0, PII 400MhZ, 192MB Ram, and I thought this would take it.
I recieved these error messages:

--------------------------
...
checking X11/extensions/XKBstr.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: X11/extensions/XKBstr.h: present but cannot be
compiled
configure: WARNING: X11/extensions/XKBstr.h: check for missing
prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: X11/extensions/XKBstr.h: proceeding with the
preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##

...and then it fully stopped after:

configure: error: xmkmf/imake not found. Please make sure it's in PATH!

make: *** [dep-../../kde/kdebase] Error 2
-----------------
By the way, for the first set of error messages it says: "configure:
WARNING: Could not find libfontconfig anywhere, check
http://www.fontconfig.org/";. After that I go version 2 and installed it
sucessfully. I "make install"ed again, but same error. Can you help me out?

If you need any more information don't hesitate to ask.
