configuring the program "wmmsg" automatically through portage on Gentoo.
Using gaming-sources-2.4.20-r3 (from the gentoo portage tree, based on
ck-sources I believe).

Sent this in because it said so ;) Would be happy to run any additional
tests or provide extra information if required.
