When compliling vlc (videolanclient) I got the following error:

I am running on a freshly installed Redhat GNU/Linux system, with a
complete install (i.e, all packages on the CDs were installed)
I don't quite know how to check for the missing prerequisite headers, but
I'll try. If there are any tests I can run or other stuff I can do to give
you more information, just ask.
