I got this error while doing a ./configure on wget:

The versions of my software is as follows:

OS:  Mac OS X Version 10.3.2
build system type: powerpc-apple-darwin7.2.0
host system type: powerpc-apple-darwin7.2.0
gcc:  gcc2.95.2
wget:  1.9
