configure: WARNING

From: Brian Mielke
Subject: configure: WARNING

I get the following configure WARNINGs when I run ./configure for
commoncpp-1.1.0 on solaris 2.8.

configure: WARNING: netinet/ip.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to address@hidden ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##

Also, when I "make install", I get the following errors

../libtool: ranlib: command not found
*** Error code 127
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-libLTLIBRARIES'
Current working directory /export/home/bmielke/commoncpp2-1.1.0/src
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-am'
Current working directory /export/home/bmielke/commoncpp2-1.1.0/src
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-recursive'

I don't know if the configure warnings are related to the install errors or
not, but if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a way around these errors,
please let me know.
