Hi,

I was trying to configure python-2.3.4 with the command line

./configure --without-gcc --with-cxx=CC --prefix=/home/cds

Part of the output was

checking term.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: term.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: term.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: term.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to address@hidden ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
checking for term.h... yes

The machine and compiler are

cholla 272% uname -a
SunOS cholla 5.8 Generic_108528-29 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60
cholla 273% cc -V
cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C 5.3 2001/05/15
