Alas, my last Solaris 2.6 host is currently unreachable, so I can't
test this stuff myself. I'm afraid that you'll have to debug this
issue yourself, if you care to.
But my advice is to upgrade to the current Bash. You should do this
anyway, since it fixes several bugs relevant for Solaris 2.6. Here's
