Error when trying to install ntpd 4.2.0 on IRIX 6.5.21m

Hello,

When trying to install ntpd 4.2.0 I received a message:

checking sys/stropts.h usability... no
checking sys/stropts.h presence... yes

Seems like this is not going to work for me... 8-(
Any suggestions?
