Hmm, let's see...

...and if we follow this thread until
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2005-11/msg00839.html
it's not so clear any more.  I can't find any usage of those defines
in my copy of the Cygwin headers, though.  Maybe it's not a problem any
more; we'll see.

I have applied the patch.
