Thanks for the report. Can you please also send the config.log that was
created prior to running make, so that we can see what led up to this
failure? Also, CVS has a patch that tries harder to find a working m4,
compared to 2.61a which gave up if the first m4 found was insufficient.
Also, please show us the location of m4 1.4.10, as well as your $PATH.
