Hi,

The configure script generated by autoconf outputs various platform
information to the config.log file. In particular, it outputs the
$PATH components, but nothing about the other *PATH environment
variables that can influence the build, such as C_INCLUDE_PATH
and LIBRARY_PATH (there are also CPATH, CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH and
OBJC_INCLUDE_PATH, but I haven't tested). I think they should be
written to the config.log, at least when the compiler is gcc (if
they are defined, one can assume that they may be useful anyway).
