Looks good; even if any of the actions on 'tdir ' trigger platform bugs, and 
leave trash behind, at least the testsuite will proceed.  Meanwhile, I've 
tested that CVS cygwin has been fixed to work with either the old or the new 
test.  I've committed your patch:
