| Was there a specific reason this patch hasn't been applied yet?
Only that I don't have access to a platform to test out whether the
testsuite still works, and that I haven't written a corresponding
ChangeLog entry. I have the patch queued on a topic branch in my local
repository, ready to apply if we get some positive feedback.
But I suspect it is worth applying.
